Pair of Perfect Postage Stamp Birthday Cards

These two cards were made with very similar bases.  The base cardstock is Bashful Blue with Cherry Cobbler Square and then postage stamps punched out and stamped up using the Perfect Postage stamp set.  Random postage stamps were embossed to make a different texture to the squares.  Little flowers were then added with mini brads in the middle.

There are the second to last cards from the class I attended.

Stamps - Perfect Postage (page 20 of Mini Spring catalogue - £8.95 in clear)
Cardstock - Bashful blue, whisper white, Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzaz, Crumb Cake (all available from pages 90-95 of the catalogue - £6.25 for a pack of 24 A4 sheets)
Ink - Cherry Cobbler (page 93 - £4.95)
Accessories - Postage Stamp punch (page 20 of Spring Mini - £14.25), Itty Bitty Punch Pack (page 116 - £15.50), Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (page 124 - £6.95), mini brads (page 109 - £2.95).

If you purchased the Perfect Postage stamps and matching punch, a packet of mixed A4 cardstock, Cherry Cobbler Inkpad and the Itty Bitty Punch pack, this would come to £49.90 and you would then be entitled to the free Sale-a-bration gift.

Pair of Spice Cake Button Cards

Here are a couple of cards I made using the Spice Cake Designer papers and matching/co-ordinating buttons.  Plain cardstock was used for the card bases and then Pear Pizzaz and More Mustard card layered on top with a piece of velvet ribbon put across the line between the card colours.  The corners of the bottoms of the cards were then rounded off.

Four circles of various designs of the Spice Cake papers were then punched out and a matching button put on top of one of the paper circles, with a little linen thread put through the button first.

The cards were then personalised with the Happy Birthday stamps.  So simple, but very good, particularly for those akward mens cards!!

Stamps - Happiest Birthday Wishes (Hostess only set - £16 in clear)
Paper - Spice Cake Designer Papers (pg 10 of the Spring Mini - £9.95 for 24 sheets of 12x12)
Cardstock - Pear Pizzaz (page 90 - 2010-12 In Color range £6.25 for 24 A4 sheets or you can buy a set of 20 A4 sheets of In Color card range for £6.25) and More Mustard (page 93 - £6.25 for 24 A4 sheets or you can buy the Regals Collection of 20 A4 sheets for £6.25)
Ink - Soft Suede (page 94 - £4.95)
Accessories - Velvet ribbon (page 11 of Spring Mini - £6.95 for approx 9.14m of 3/8" ribbon), Linen Thread (page 107 - £3.75 for approx 13.7m ), Corner Rounder (page 118 - £6.25) and Spice Cake Buttons (page 11 of Spring Mini - £6.50 for 15 very large buttons)

If you would like to purchase any of these items, please contact me.  For instance, if you bought the Spice Cake Papers, Matching Buttons, a pack of 12x12 cardstock (instead of the A4), the inkpad, ribbon, thread and corner rounder this would come to £47.10 and you would be eligible for a free Sale-a-bration gift which includes stamps and designer papers.  You would then have a good base to start crafting from.

Stampin Up Independent Demonstrator

I am sooo excited.  I have just signed up to be a Stampin Up Independent Demonstrator.

I have to admit that I signed up to get the amazing deal on the demonstrator kit and I am not really planning on doing parties or demonstrating but if anyone would like to purchase items from the Stampin Up catalogue via myself, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.  The demonstrator kit alone should be amazing, photos will be on here as soon as it arrives.  You pay £119 for £250 worth of stock and better than that you can tailor make your kit by putting the colours and stamps that you want in it (not everything can be changed though) and if you buy a kit now you get a completely free stamp set from either the Sale-a-bration catalogue or anything else out of the catalogue.  Get in touch and I can send you the information.

I will put information on this blog when my kit comes but the standard kit is shown above.  I will show some card samples on here from kits I have bought soon.
